Santander Content Accuracy Monitor
A monitored editorial workflow for the Santander Salto blog: detect when time-sensitive financial content falls out of date, then propose grounded revisions for human and compliance review.
The Problem
Financial education content ages in public. Euribor rates, tax bands, housing rules, support programmes, and social security thresholds can change after an article is published — while the article still reads like current advice.
For Santander Salto, that creates a practical editorial risk: useful evergreen articles also contain facts that need a source-backed freshness check before readers, search engines, or compliance teams find the drift.
What I Built
Portfolio Inventory
A mapped view of Santander Salto articles, grouped by topic and risk tier, with the official watch sources each article depends on.
Official-Source Monitoring
A workflow for watching sources such as Banco de Portugal, Diário da República, Autoridade Tributária, and Segurança Social for changes that affect published claims.
AI Revision Drafts
AI-assisted rewrites for only the affected passages, preserving the original article's tone, structure, reading level, and SEO intent.
Approval Trail
A human-in-the-loop review path: compare the current article with the proposed revision, edit inline, approve or reject, and keep an audit trail through compliance sign-off.
The Hard Part
Keeping automation useful without letting it publish on its own.
The system has to distinguish durable educational content from facts that expire: rates, dates, legal thresholds, programme rules, and official forms. A generic content checker would either miss those changes or produce noisy alerts.
The proposed design keeps the risky decisions visible. AI can identify affected passages and draft the minimal update, but editors and compliance own the final decision before anything reaches the public site.
Stack
Status
Proposal and working product concept prepared for Santander Salto, including a protected demo experience, portfolio mapping, monitoring logic, revision workflow, and approval model. The public case study keeps private proposal access details out of the portfolio.
